With the plague of plastic straws now a global problem, we knew we had to find a solution. Most solutions saw paper as the answer, but that still means chopping down our forests just to take a sip of our favourite drink.
Then we looked deeper, why is a straw called a straw? Well, because it’s made of actual straw!
Our straws are made from the stem of wheat, rather than the grain where gluten is found. They have been tested for even trace amounts of gluten and are gluten-free.
